Adega Pedralonga

Acervo de bodegueros. La familia Alfonso ha elaborado vino durante generaciones en Val do Umia, conservándose escritos de principios del s. XX que ya hablan de las cosechas y de la elaboración del vino a partir del trabajo cuidadoso de la viña.

Adega Pedralonga se funda en 1997, bajo la misma filosofía de sus antepasados, empleando métodos tradicionales y técnicas biodinámicas, para elaborar vinos singulares, sin correcciones químicas ni filtrados, bajo la Denominación de Origen Rías Baixas.

Clima

La impronta del océano. Los viñedos Pedralonga están influenciados por un clima atlántico, que proporciona temperaturas benignas y abundantes lluvias durante gran parte del año, y son aptos para uvas como el Albariño .

Suelo

Los viñedos arraigan en suelos francoarenosos al pie del monte Xiabre, en terrenos elevados orientados de norte a sur, para conseguir la insolación adecuada que los hace madurar mejor y los mantiene sanos.

Viticultura

En Adega Pedralonga realizan una viticultura biodinámica, con total ausencia de pesticidas y abonos minerales, y el esmero en el cultivo sobre espalderas con técnicas de las bodegas del siglo XXI.

Vinos

Expresión mineral. En Pedralonga elaboran unos vinos con temperamento propio. Albariños y vinos tintos personales, que destacan por su equilibrada acidez, y se distinguen por el gusto mineral que les aportan los suelos de granito de su "terroir".

Sus vinos atesoran la personalidad única de los caldos de los pequeños bodegueros que controlan cada detalle de su producción. Toda una filosofía que apuesta por la calidad y por crear caldos no estandarizados.
