Bodegas Viña Magaña

Inició su andadura con el sueño de crear un vino nuevo, diferente y sorprendente. Partió de una tierra por la que nadie apostaba: pobre, árida aunque rica en minerales, donde la cepa sufriera. Implantó nuevas cepas, entonces no autorizadas, procedentes de las mejores zonas productoras francesas, lo que hoy le hace contar con algunas de las cepas más viejas de variedades tan nobles como el Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, etc...

Durante estos más de 30 años, Bodegas Viña Magaña ha logrado hacerse con más de 100 hectáreas de viñedo propias, de las que parten las uvas de todos sus vinos, y un parque de entre 900 y 1000 barricas de roble francés.

Para la elaboración de sus vinos dispone de unas modernas instalaciones propias del prestigioso arquitecto navarro, Rafael Moneo.

Sus marcas -Viña Magaña, Barón de Magaña, Dignus, Torcas y por último Calchetas-, están presentes en la oferta comercial y en la alta restauración de más de 30 países de todo el mundo y han sido escogidos por instituciones y empresas tan destacadas como la Casa Real, la compañía aérea Iberia, las cadenas hoteleras Sheraton e Intercontinental, o personalidades tan relevantes como el Dalai-Lama, en su estancia en España; o Indurain para celebrar sus victorias en el Tour de Francia.
