Marqués de Tomares

Es una bodega familiar, cuyos comienzos se remontan a 1910 cuando “El abuelo D. Román Montaña” comenzó a dedicarse a la elaboración y crianza de vinos, siendo así el fundador de una saga de maestros artesanos en vinos, actualmente son sus nietos quienes continúan con gran éxito esta labor.

Marqués de Tomares está situada en Fuenmayor - bajo la Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja, en la sub-zona de Rioja Alta, siendo este un pueblo donde históricamente se le caracteriza la gran calidad de sus caldos para la crianza de vinos.

Clima

Aunque pequeña en extensión, la región natural de La Rioja posee diferentes zonas climáticas como resultado a su geografía; Atlántica, Atlántica-Mediterránea, lo que la dota de unas características únicas para el cultivo y elaboración de sus vinos.

Viñedo

Formado por cepas centenarias, cultivadas con su abuelo Román, hasta nuestros días continúa la saga de maestros artesanos del vino. "Una bodega familiar legado de mucho esfuerzo y trabajo, que sigue produciendo con éxito vinos de gran calidad."

Marqués de Tomares se abastece con viñedo propio en un 25% y el resto es proporcionado por agricultores particulares con gran experiencia en el mundo de la viticultura, a los cuales se les hace un seguimiento y asesoramiento en las labores a realizar en viñas.
